Feature Session: Marin County Senior

I’ve known Cole since he was very young, which made photographing his senior year especially meaningful. A senior at Terra Linda High School, Cole spent much of his time on the lacrosse field, the football field, and the basketball court—sports that shaped so many of his high school memories. He was wonderful to work with from start to finish, genuinely curious about photography and fully engaged throughout the entire session.

As the evening unfolded, he relaxed easily into the process, becoming more confident, playful, and completely at ease in front of the camera. Sessions like this are always special, and Cole’s enthusiasm made it even more memorable. Hearing how happy he was with the photographs and the experience meant a lot—and the handwritten thank-you note he sent afterward was a thoughtful reminder of why I love doing this work.
