Most senior guy photo sessions start with Mom saying, “It’s time for senior photos.”

For Dylan, a Redwood High School senior and dedicated mountain biker, the idea may not have sounded nearly as exciting as a day on the trails.

But as we explored Marin hillsides, talked about what a great year he had, and included his bike in the session, something shifted. He settled in, had fun with the process, and by the end of the evening was genuinely enjoying himself.

Somewhere between the first trail and the last photo on the mountain, the session became about more than marking a milestone. It became a way to celebrate the years of hard work, victories, and adventures that brought him here.

Before the portraits, there were years of training, racing, and chasing finish lines across Northern California. May the adventure never end.
