This backyard mini session took place during a summer evening family gathering along Corte Madera Creek. With relatives visiting and multiple generations together, the family wanted a few quick, candid photographs of the kids and grandchildren while everyone was in the same place at the same time. We stepped out onto the dock just as the evening light softened across the water, with Mt. Tamalpais rising in the distance.

The setting created the perfect backdrop for relaxed, natural moments—children moving freely, laughter between cousins, and grandparents surrounded by family. Simple, unhurried moments like these often become the most meaningful photographs, capturing a fleeting season of life and the feeling of being together.
